Raejon Alford, known by his stage name Rae Accardo, Is a Hip-Hop Recording artist from Laurinburg, NC, but raised in Raleigh, NC and Atlanta, GA. Rae Accardo is a member of the Multi-Award nominated hip-hop trio, The Scrap Boyz.
` Rae Accardo started making music in 2007, at the age of 13 years old. Accardo and his younger brother, Yada GeeGotta, started The Scrap Boyz while staying in Charlotte, North Carolina. Rae Accardo was basically raised around the music scene, with his father being well a producer/Studio Engineer, Accardo has been around mainstream artists since he was 11 years old. Accomplishing a lot with The Scrap Boyz, Rae Accardo has since been on the rise to the top. Rae Accardo say's his Favorite artist since he was 11 has been the Atlanta rapper, Gucci Mane. The Scrap Boyz are no strangers to Hard Work. Since their launch in 2007 they have worked with artist such as Sy Ari Da Kid, Waka Flocka, BG Marco and more, and have even shared the stage with many notable artists. The Scrap Boyz started off making dance music, music for kids, but after certain events happened in their life, they switched to street, or "trap music." Even though they are versatile artists, Rae Accardo and The Scrap Boyz have released most recent music with the intention to speak to the streets. Rae Accardo has released multiple projects with The Scrap Boyz, but since the death of Yada, another member of The Scrap Boyz, Accardo was forced to go Solo. Rae Accardo stated "I will always be a Scrap Boy, we are forever, but now I have to keep the name going for Yada" in a recent interview. Rae Accardo along with Dark South's CEO Jonwon plan on releasing a documentary dedicated to the late Yada GeeGotta, and also has multiple other projects on the way.
